Parts of non-metallic material must be resistant to ignition and spread of fire, in case they are exposed to high temperatures: in fact according to EN60335-1 standard (household and similar electrical appliances - safety) parts of insulating material are subjected to the GLOW-WIRE TEST of IEC60695-2-11.

PLUG-IN CONNECTORS FOR FREE-HANGING WIRING

euroclamp free-hanging plug-in connectors with male-female mounting system, allow the wire-to-wire connection, and can be used in those applications where frequent circuit breaks are required.
Unlike conventional plugs, the main feature of the free-hanging plug-in connector “SF” is the inverted mounting system: it means that it has male contacts. More features are:

- Wire section: up to 4 sqmm (solid) and 2,5 sqmm (stranded);
- Rated current: 16A;
