This category of terminal blocks is divided into two types of connection:

- spring-cage connection;
- screwless with push-wire connection.

Spring-cage connection, well known for decades, involves the activating of the connection system (spring) by an appropriate tool or by a specific push-button that is fully integrated into the body of the terminal block.

Push-wire connecting system allows the connection by pushing the wire (solid or stranded with a push rod) into the terminal block.
Each terminal block is equipped with a lever: the connection and the disconnection of the stranded wire can be easily achieved by actuating the lever. 
 
euroclamp offer different kinds of screwless terminal blocks: they have various pitches (2,5 mm and more), different wide wire sections, rated current and mounting position (horizontal, vertical or angled).
The wiring can be easier if the terminal blocks are consecutively numbered or printed as required: so the plastic body of the screwless terminal blocks has an appropriate surface for the marking.
